On the subject of weather, it's supposed to be raining tomorrow.   grr I. Am. So. Tired. Of. Rain.grr  Just saying.

Anywho...
Today I pretty much just lounged around trying to recover from yesterday's awesomeness.  Being Superbowl Sunday, I'm over the boyfriend's house with a housefull of friends and family to watch the game on his big TV.  Talk about a blastie! big grin  Thirty-some people just clowning around, yelling at the TV, chomping down all kinds of munchies including the biggest pizzas I've ever seen (seriously, they were as big as the kitchen table!!), and getting pretty drunk. tongue  We went through at least 10 bags of chips and doritos, couple plates of nachos, 5 of those monster pizzas, and a couple thirty packs, a Heineken mini keg, and quite a few bottles of rum. upsidedown  And six hours after the Superbowl was over, we're all still chilling and being crazy.  I didn't even get to sleep until like 8 in the morning!
So, yeah...today was recuperating. tongue

not only does everything but my work seem to be getting more and more broken, but I also am losing what little ability I had to tolerate people I have issues with... great...

was going crazy at my school today. See i stayed back in freashman year due to me being a total di'kut and not doing a kriffing thing (which il regret for a long time) and no im finally a senior i have to fill in the gaps of credits and stuff and im 2.5 credits short of the required 110 and a half year short science. suckage right? so i had to convince them to let me try foreniscs....again. And to do a big end year project worth 4 credits. Im great friends with the computer tech head at the school so i convinced them to let me build a computer from scratch....gonna be interesting...

After that i came home and napped a good amount. played xbox, watched Pitch Black, computer, some team fortress 2 and now im heading off to bed hoping we dont get the 2 feet of snow forcasted for here tomorrow. yeah a snow day would be nice but my school is famous for not cancelling school with snow crap. I just dont want to shovel.... grr

It does amaze me sometimes just what British weather can be like.  Take today.  This morning it was cloudy with light snow.  Now its clear with lots of sun.  Actually, its starting to cloud over again a bit, but its still much clearer then its been for a while.

Anyway, today has been more game development stuff for me.  I found out that when games get published on Xbox Live Indie Games, they automatically get their own section in the Xbox.com forums so I can hold off adding a forums to my website for a while longer.  I also found some of the resources available from the XNA Creators club website have been downgraded from premium to public, meaning I no longer need to buy premium membership to get to them (which is nice because I only have the academic membership).  I think the main thing I've done today so far though is deciding there are no rendering engines capable of fulfilling what I need, so I'll have to make one myself.

Funniest thing about guinea pigs; when they start squeaking it's like an alarm.; 'EMERGENCY! EMERGENCY! EMERGENCY!'

Or 'INTRUDER ALERT!  INTRUDER ALERT!'

My kids had a guinea pig...I always had fun with that aspect of it...teasing them about what alarm or emergency might be going on to cause the outburst.

Awww!  Poor pup.  That's sad that he's stumpy but it's great that you caught it.

Woke up this morning to find Facebook can't stop playing around with their layout.  Its a lot different from before, with the bar at the bottom being removed and notifications now being displayed in the top bar.  The Chat menu is still at the bottom, however now you can also see some of your online friends in the sidebar on the left.  The top bar now has buttons for friend notifications, messages and general notifications, a massive search bar in the middle and then buttons to take you to the homepage and your account, and a menu for changing account settings.

Unfortunately, while they were changing the layout they didn't seem to address the things most people seem to complain about: seeing which groups your friends have joined and seeing wall-to-wall posts between mutual friends.  You can also see who your friends have become friends with still, which is something else I found simply cluttered up the news feed.

ugh, i know! it's so annoying.

Burnt myself on a hot rice cooker.

Probably gonna leave a scar. And not a cool scar either. An ugly, stupid scar. Right on my forearm!

My copy of the Halo: Legends 2-disc special edition DVD came through the post today, even though its not released until next week!  I also got my copy of HAWX on the Xbox 360 today, although as I have it already on PC I'm in no rush to play it.

Today I realised a couple of interesting things.  First, its now been over a year since Microsoft closed down the studio that makes their Flight Simulator series, thus ending the FS franchise.  Secondly, its now just 1 month until the new Formula 1 season begins with the Bahrain Grand Prix.  I'm firmly behind McLaren Mercedes this season with their all-British line-up, although I'm interested to see what fellow British team Lotus can do after their 16 year break from the sport.  Now I'm getting super-excited about the new season, and really, really cannot wait until the new F1 2010 comes out later this year.
