Strategic Warfare
« on: June 27, 2009, 02:41:20 PM »
Okedokey people... I have started a New Strategic Warfare thread, for the people who weren't in it before, Here's the link to the Original.
http://forum.clonecommandos.net/index.php?topic=1215.0
I will be tweaking a few things. We will be fighting over a country. Which will probably be Switzerland. You can chose a nation and fight as them, but you must chose a side:

Russia
European Union
United States
Northern Defence Coalition (NDC)
African Coalition of States (ACOS)

The European Union is all of Europe. (Brazil and Australia are included in EU)
The NDC is Canada, Iceland and Norway.

This is the list of troops, your army would be made out of these.
________________________________________________________________
Air Force

Air Force: 650 Planes
Wing: 150 Planes
Squadron: 50 planes
Element: 25 planes

Army (Applies the Marines, Seals, Rangers and Airborne )

Army: 20,000 Troops
Division: 10,000 Troops
Company: 5,000 Troops
Regiment: 1,500 Troops
Platoon: 500 Troops
Unit: 250 Troops
Squad: 50 Troops
Special Ops Team: 15 Troops

Portable Missile Brigade

(Two Men to a Truck, each Truck has Four missiles)

Division: 50 Launch Trucks
Unit: 25 Launch Trucks
Caravan: 10 Launch Trucks
Those Aren't necessary..

The Rules are simple. NO Nuclear Weapons. You may Make a map and show where your troops are, and where they are moving. NO god-modding. Your army cannot be bigger than everyone Else's if you are somewhere like Luxembourg, want a bigger army, be a bigger country. The US will have to biggest army, for I am assuming more than one person will be playing as them... Unlike last time, we will have Navys. A lot of countries are neutral, basically the one's none picks.

Now to Alliance Specialties...

The US is all around good.. But there army is so large, they can't move very far. And the countries they are attacking will know about it before they actually attack. There Tech is decent.. But they have decent space surveillance. They have decent technology, up there with NDC, but not with the EU.

The NDC is very good at fighting in the cold. There Tech is built to withstand the cold, so where our guns and stuff would jam in the cold, theirs wouldn't.. They have a medium size fleet of Ice Breaker cutters

The ACOS is the opposite of the NDC, except for they have no Navy, and an Air Force of old Planes. they mainly fight with guerrilla tactics and fight mainly on Defense. They have little to no surveillance, and very little Tech. They are still a formidable fighting force.

The EU focuses more on Stealth, skill, and Technology than on size. They have a rather small army, but they are equipped with the best armor and weapons in the world. The have very good Surveillance, good tech, and can fight decently wherever they fight. They have an impressive array of satellites in space, including 15 stations, all have different purposes.

Russia Focuses mainly on Brute Force, they have a huge army with troops who have little training and are just given a gun. They are rather week technology wise, they have a decent space surveillance, but there satellites are old.

Think I got everything... Please, if you want to join or have a suggestions, PM please.

Who's against who?

In the Beginning, everyone against everyone. But later in the game people can make alliances, but alliances can have no more than two countries.

I will be fighting as Sweden, EU.

I'll take Poland, EU. But don't excpect a lot of help from us. The rest of Europe never helped us, and we won't help you. Especially France, England, and Germany. And Russia, beware.

Since Poland has no Navy and a small army, can I have a larger SpecOps branch and airforce.
