OOC:Neither am I.

Drake is flamboyant, and may go over the top, but if he were not that extrovert then who would move things along?

Grips breathed a sigh of relief as they came within sight of the camp. They had seen their first action, and come out pretty much unscathed. But what they had seen today was just the tip of the iceberg compared to what was to come.

Once Williams horse was in the stable, he began walking toward his tent. As he walked he unbuttoned bandolier and Dolman, lending him a more casual appearance.

As he reached his tent he put his helmet on the ground, unslung his bandolier, musket, pistol, and ammunition as he headed toward Wellingtons tent. However, he did button up his Dolman.

After a heated argument with the Quartermaster Valdiner had secured food and lodging for the men. He had seen to it that they were getting settled before going to his own tent. He was sharing it with two other sergent due to the lack of space in camp. He simply laid down his weapons save for his knife and went to the place where he had been ordered to meet the Captain.

Soon William reached the Tent, and we waited for the others. Valdiner was the first to arrive
"The way this works, is he will call us in when he is ready to hear our report. But Goddinton has to be here. Do you know where he is?"

((Sorry 'bout that))

As if on cue, Charles approached at a leisurely pace, his bearskin in his hands as he burnished the front plate while his sword scabbard slapped insistently at his knee. Setting the cap on his head, he tugged at his tunic, adjusted his sash, and pushed his sword farther back along his pipeclayed belt. Straight-faced, Captain Goddington stepped up to Lieutenant Valdiner and Captain Tarleton, nodding bluntly as he sweltered in the blazing Portuguese heat.

(Also, Wellington wasn't a Duke until 1814. At this time, he would have been Maj. Gen. Sir Arthur Wellesley.))

"Sirs." Valdiner said saluting. He let the Officer's take the lead and wordlessly followed. He'd gladly let them do all the talking. The less he dealt with higher ranked officers, the less likely he would get in any kind of trouble.

OOC: I thought he was a Field Marshal?

William finished adjusted his collars and stepped into the tent, inside Wellington was sitting at a desk, reading a report
"Sir!" William said, snapping to attention "My combat report, sir." he said, handing him a piece of paper
After five minutes, Wellington put the paper down and looked at him
"You say you engaged the French?"
"Yes sir, we did. It was a patrol of Chassaurs."
"Why didn't you try to make them not see you, why did you attack them"
"We were in a valley, we had no choice, there was no bushes or trees"
"You say in this part you saw over 2,000 Frogs, where did you see them"
"May I please see a map, sir?"
"Yes, you may, here" Wellington responded, pulling a map of Rolica out from under his desk
"They were here, the patrol we encountered were here. I saw fifteen horse artillery moving this direction. Foot artillery was limbered here. Cavalry was massing here. Infantry was just in camp, which is here."

OOC: Valdiner is a Sergent.

"Sir, there were also a large amount of tracks through the valley. Both casued by wheels, hoves, and boots." Valdiner said. He hadn't wanted to speak up, but tracks could be just as important, if not more, than eyewitness reports.
