Genetically engineered from before he was even born, Tavish was modified to be quick and acrobatic while also retaining the development of biotic abilities. The intent of his creation was obvious; to make the perfect assassin. It was to be his life, destined to be his future if he managed to fall into the wrong hands. It was the day that he was to be given to his would-be father that an Asari scientist that worked on the small project found out the truth behind his creation. Faced with the issue, there were only two choices available: hand Tavish over and allow for an assassin to be formed, or take Tavish under her care and raise him herself.
Unwilling to bend her morals, she took the risky move of taking Tavish for her own in the hopes of finding safety for him rather than let his life be determined for him. Barely able to avoid the many obstacles that made into her path, she managed to escape and seek refuge with fellow Asari. Many of them disapproved of her actions, worried that she would get attached to a Human child with a short life span, but they understood why she took her actions and aided her.
Raised on a lush world in Citadel Space, he had an easy life compared to others. He was raised to be morally good, but also to be aware that sometimes ruthless actions had to be taken to accomplish the greater good. It was when he was in his teenage years that his biotic potential began to show, along with a mishap from the genetic engineering. With the arrival of his biotic abilities, a mistake in his genetic codes became obvious as his the pigment of his iris began to change from their original hazel color to lavender. It was harmless, but it drew concern until it fully settled in. Having been raised by an Asari proved to be useful for him in the sense that he had someone close to help hone his abilities.
At the age of eighteen, he was determined to set a new course to his life against the wishes of his Asari caretaker. Something in his blood craved the thrill of battle and adrenaline, but his mentality constantly berated him for it. Eventually he found himself on the Citadel, joining C-Sec for a few years before taking one step over the legal edge after resigning and taking the job as a spy. It proved to be more interesting than pushing papers around for C-Sec.
Having been raised under good charge, Tavish is easy-going and usually makes the choices that is morally right. He does understand, however, that there are some circumstances where doing the right thing might not seem like the correct thing. Hesitation is common for him when pushed to do something he opposes and usually results in him being guilt-stricken for some time afterward. Most of the time Tavish is relaxed, or more so than others, but he can be focused and determined when he feels the need to. Ignorance is the one thing he can't stand out of many things.
