AARRRRGGGHHH this game.

I hate games like this, because I love them so. (I dare you to try and make sense of that last sentence.)

The game itself is cool enough, but every time I log on I find myself going "Urgh bored" and logging off. Why? Because unless you're paying to play, there's NOTHING TO DO. Sure, a few of the free minigames are winners (The lightsaber dueling is surprisingly fun, and in one minigame you get to abuse Jar Jar!), in addition to most of the games in question being locked off to Jedi players, there's really no point to aspire to earn anything, because the virtual cash is worthless. All the cool costumes you either have to be a Jedi to get or pay actual money, and considering they're VIRTUAL goods, is it really even worth it?  I don't think so, but a number of people seem to disagree. I just wish that free players didn't get the short end of the stick just so shabla Lucasarts could cash in on people who have bottomless pockets.

I'm not asking for EVERYTHING to be free, just some of the cool stuff. I'm considering buying a month to see how much more fun being a Jedi is (Or that pack that's coming out soon that lets you play as a TOGRUTAAAAAAA and we all know they are awesome.) and then MAYBE get the lifetime subscription if being a Jedi is really that stellar.

Weeellll, I just started to play it today. Cuz I was bored, had a knacking for some new game that is Star Wars related. But didn't want to spend mah moneyz, so I decided to try it out.

Its surprsingly fun! I like a lot of the video games. (Specifically speeder bike races cuz I pwn at them)

Also, I found a way to get a free 1 month Jedi Membership subscription So you can get access to more stuff. (The free-to-play version is severely lacking in cool gea) If anybody else is curious this is how you do it:

FIRST OF ALL: DO NOT create a new account. Do the redeeming thing first.

Go to the website. www.clonewarsadvenctures.com
Go to the redeem-a-code spot.
Enter CWAGIFT10 and redeem
Rex should pop up pointing a finger at you, go to the bottom and click "Or click here to register and redeem your code"
Create your character normally
And you're good to go!!

There's a new squad feature where Jedi members get to make their own squad. My squad's name is Jetiise Vode. :)

I just created a clone character and saw when looking at what gear is available, I saw you can get Boss and Scorch!  Their armour is as follows:

Boss
Commando Boss's armour - 100 station cash
Commando Boss's boots - 50 station cash
Commando Boss's gloves - 50 station cash
Commando Boss's helmet - 100 station cash

Scorch
Commando Scorch's armour - 800 credits
Commando Scorch's boots - 200 credits
Commando Scorch's gloves - 200 credits
Commando Scorch's helmet - 400 credits

I think I know what I'm saving up for....

EDIT

Just did a few matches of a tower-defence game and got enough to buy the full Scorch outfit and it looks so awesome!

I have Scorch's, too. Actually, it has now added a DC-15a to Scorch's gear. Should be a DC-17. :P

What's your guys' names? So we can try to find eachother

Mine was Tyrral Ashslasher last time I checked. That's the 'temporary' name the site gave me until Anrai Harrow is approved.

I've also got a temporary name, Wullf Fractalmark.  Once approved my Clone's name will be Thermal Soarer, with my username being ThermalSoarer.

Also, do we want to make a squad.  I did the offer H-BOMB posted about so have Jedi membership and can create one if we want.

Flyboy is in my squad. H-BOMB, I couldn't find you. Could you send me a friend request? Flyboy, I made you a commander. If you want a different rank, let me know.

EDIT: Nevermind, it seems I found H-BOMB.

Me too. Haha I couldn't resist. Too awesome.

Now the substitute name makes sense. Tyrral Ashslasher is pretty trandoshan-y sounding.

Unfortunately, the substitute names sometimes stay. You may be stuck, Tyrral!
