Lash loved space travel. He loved to stand on the bridge and look out as the ship roared through the galaxy faster than light itself. The vibration of the massive engines in the soles of his feet. The presence of soldiers with whom he felt kinship. Not like the Jedi Temple, where he felt a strange disconnection from everyone around him. He was supposed to feel specially connected with other force users, wasn't he?

Yet he did not. This was where he felt most at home. With the troops, out on the fringes of space, facing danger and adventure and combat. Lash floated a small metal ball in the air while he thought. He was on his way to the Resolution battle group, which was posted at the medical station above Ord Cestus. Lash gave himself a half smile, knowing that the troops there would probably be glad to see his orders. Yes, he was taking them to battle. The Chancellor's war strategy was terrible. How that old man was being allowed to dictate military strategy was beyond him.

However, he had to carry out his duty. Mostly for the poor grunts who didn't have a choice in the matter. If he showed doubt and disbelief in the effort, it would rub off on them. Though, clone troopers didn't hold much respect for Jedi. This he knew, and this he had worked to change at all his posts. No, he did not try and get the troopers to like the Jedi. Just to like him. He wasn't like the other jedi, and he knew it.

Lash was suddenly pulled out of his thoughts by the Captain of the ship taking him to the Resolution. "Sir we are an hour out from Ord Cestus."

"Thanks, Cap'n." Lash said casually. He walked back to his quarters to get his things ready.

"First Platoon wins!""And how do you figure that?""The others cheated.""I say they improvised.""They cheated!""THEY ADAPTED AND OVERCAME!"

Find an excuse to win.

OOC: Sorry about the Jai Maruk thing, it has been changed. That was before I knew Ordo was taking him.

BIC:
Wolfe turned to Kote "At ease, Captain. You haven't missed much, except for the fact that we have been assigned a Jedi General too command our taskforce. This may foreshadow our re-assignment to the Outer Rim or someplace, where we'll see some action. However-" He was cut off as his wrist comlink began bleeping.
"This is Commander Wolfe, what is it?" a clones voice came from the com,
"Sir, the Jedi's cruiser is coming out of Hyperspace. He is arriving a Coordinates 60,60,45 Sector 2. On the other side of the planet."
"Good." He said, then turned "Detach us from the taskforce, move us to coordinates 60,60,45." Then he turned to Getch "Getch, go down too the hanger and meet Lash, we'll be joining you shortly."

Kote relaxed into an at ease position, and looked at the holotable as Wolfe finished speaking.

"Finally, some action, Sir. My armor's still shiny. Didn't get to go down to Geonosis to rough it up a bit."

Kote could tell that everyone was excited, to certain degrees. They shared his desire to do some fighting. This business on Ord Cestus, mainly sitting in orbit and guarding a medical station, had left a want for something different.

"Yes, not that we wear our armor much. Dismissed." Wolfe said, and he walked over to the holo table, and answered a call. A clone appeared.
"Yes?" Wolfe said
"We have the Resolutions assignment. It is too rendezvous with Taskforce 241 at Coruscant. Where it will then head for Dantooine. Where your force will assist Mace Windu's forces already on the planet."
"Yes sir, I will alert the crew"

"Swanson!" He said, just as Swanson was beginning too leave the bridge "I have our assignment!"

OOC: The Admiral of a ship is essentially the Captain of the vessel. Wasn't really expecting this many people, I'll have too make another spot if Nold wants to join. Oh, and Ky'ram, you can make it so Kote overheard Wolfe talking too the clone, they can strike of a convo.

Ah, vor'e for the info ner vode. I'm not sure what I'd do really as a captain nor do I prefer being in command of a ship really so I'll have to decline. Again, vor'e both for the oppurtunity and the info.

Then he turned to Getch "Getch, go down too the hanger and meet Lash, bring him up too the bridge."

"Yes, Sir."  Getch said.  He then exited the bridge and made his way down to the main hanger.    He past many of his comrades but only gave a slight nod in acknowledgement.  They all knew him enough to know that is was on a mission,  =and that they should not bother him unless it was extremely important.

He made it to the hanger and walked up to the Clone at the main console.    "Has the General's ship left the Argonaut yet?"   "Yes Sir.   it should be here soon."   he paused for a second looked at the screen.  "ETA three minutes, Sir."
"Thanks you private."      He said, as he walked to the edge of where the ship would land, just inside the area the would be shielded.  He soon alarm that told all personnel to clear the landing area.   It was empty within seconds,  the shield went up not but 2 feet in front of him. He looked up and could see the Resolution's main hangar door open up to space.  I minute later a small ship landed on the platform and hanger door shut.   the shield went down and he walked to the back end of the ship.

"Sir, the Generals Ship has landed!" a clone shouted from the pit.
"Good to know Kote." Wolfe said turning toward the turbolift.

Once he was down in the hanger, he saw a man in Jedi robes getting out of the Shuttle. He was medium height, and quite fit. Instinctively, Wolfe sized him up, in case of a fight.

Kote stood next to the Admiral, monitoring the ship while the commanders were down in the hangar.

"I hope this Jedi is sensible. I hear he's a tactician, so it'll be good to have a man who speaks on our level, not all that mystic 'Force' stuff."

OOC: No, my mistake. I did originally order Getch to go down and fetch the Jedi. I'll change that, so "We'll be joining you shortly". We'll have to wait for Ordo too really continue.

BIC:
"Kote, set coordinates to Coruscant. Then contact Admiral Onasi of the Avenger." Wolfe said to Kote through his com, then went too meet the Jedi
