Vau because he is a hard old chakaar. Kal's too small. Vau could pick him up and throw him to Concord Dawn from Kyrimorut.

Vau could keep his head in a fight, Kal would get mad and mess up.

Bigger don't mean better. Kal is a wildcard, you don't know what he would do. True my boy Vau is a mean SOB..... I'll say draw.
The  purpose of fighting is to win. There is no possible victory in
defense. The sword is more important than the shield, and skill is more
important than either. The final weapon is the brain. All else is supplemental.

I concur. Too close of a fight. Vau is relentless and cool headed which is necessary , but sometimes it takes a wild man to do something crazy enough to win.

I feel like this is asking whether clone A could beat clone B in a fight.....

Or for those with a sweettooth its like asking which Mike & Ika is going to collapse first when you squish them together...

Its not, but I'm saying that it is still to close to tell, they are both aged mandalorians with equal skill both with the same style armor.

That being said I think the only thing that could determine the outcome is what the reason for the fight is.

Well age and equipment leaves a lot to be desired. There's physical condition, center of gravity, terrain, skill set. There's too many factors to say decisively without more variables being defined.

Or skittles.

I still haven't voted. I have to think about it still. I might not ever vote. Like Eparavu said, it really depends on a lot of variables.

I would say kal, especially if this fight took place in the earlier series but even if it didn't I would still say kal I think they are both at the point of skill where it could be an even match fightwise with maybe vau at the upper end but skirata has passion on his side If he gets in a fight then he will go black night from Monty python on your Sheba and won't stop until he physically can not. Plus even if he didn't win it wouldn't matter because the nulls would be on vau so fast afterwords he wouldn't know what hit him

not voting on this one but i have to say that after many many readings through the RC books, I think that at the current point in time for Vau and Skirata, they wouldn't fight unless there was a REALLY REALLY good reason for it. They've had their differences but they've pretty much reached an understanding.

As it is if they did get into a fight it all depends on the reason behind it, where they are, if they are in armor or not and a whole lot of other things that can effect a fight.

If it was just to brawl because they were just ticked off, i think Kal would win. He goes complete berserker mode. Vau is more calculated.

Just my opinion at least.

take care all,

Cassa

To be honest, I still think Vau would. Maybe because Kal would use all his energy in one massive attack, then Vau could just trounce him.

And if it is set pre-Order 66, Kal has a bad ankle which could affect him.

I have a few points to make.

A. What if they both fight, without armor, in a square room with nothing in it?

B. Chuck Norris wins.

C. Chuck Norris Always Wins.

Neither would win.

They'd just start a glare-at-you-until-you-die-of-old-age-first match....until some one else pisses them off then they'd beat the osik out of him and get a drink for "old times".

They're both Mando.     <----That should say it all.

They only put there differences aside when faced with a mutual threat. Unless there was a threat, they would beat each other to the ground. So, your point is invalid. Unless that person you mentioned is a "threat" then it wouldn't work.

And it also depends on the time. On Kamino? During HC, TZ, TC, O66, ImpCom?

There are too many factors to take into account. What counts as a resource? Does Vau get Mird? By that logic, does Kal get 6 identical murderbaskets?

^Exactly. If someone started a thread like this with all factors involved, it'd work. Example:

1) Vau and Skirata are still enemies.

2) They are on Kamino.

3) This is before Skirata has the Nulls.

4) Vau doesn't get Mird.

5) Both are fully fit.

6) It is just a square room. No weapons.

7) They are well rested.

8) During the fight they fight each other to their maximum potential.

And a few other things. You get what I am saying?

my conclusion was drawn from the later part of the books. They weren't bitter enemies bent on killing each other. more like Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon in Grump old men.

They just loved to hate one another....at least at the end of the series....oh wait there was no end...just where it stopped.

She said that changes made to cannon material in the clone wars series...i.e. pacifist mandos... made her story line null and void....which it didn't really so it was an empty excuse. Sadly the world may never know the real reason she stopped.
