It did seem to be rather pushy . . . we have daytime remains/nighttime massacre/epic battle with G Dub. Plus the graphics didn't seem to be on par with the other cinematics.

Maybe there will be another trailer, who knows . . .

So did anyone catch the naval warfare gameplay demo from the Sony press conference?

http://youtu.be/TpBL-g9-Ss4

Or there is also the Frontier gameplay demo from the Ubisoft press conference.

I did not see the naval gameplay, but wow. I wish they would make a game centered just around pirates now.

Drake is flamboyant, and may go over the top, but if he were not that extrovert then who would move things along?

My thoughts exactly. That looked beautiful.

As always, AC should be amazing! :P

Not only did I nearly burst into tears at the beauty of this game, but my excitement level also just rose by about 120%.

Also, appreciate the Mythosaur skull tshirt the voice actor for Connor is wearing at 3:25.

I don't like that two themes have been abandoned, or at least they appear to be, in the main character:

First, the lip scar that Altair, Ezio, and Desmond all share is not there yet, however we may see Connor get it later in the game. Much like how we saw Ezio get his scar in the opening fight with the Pazzi.

Second, Connor's Native Name doesn't mean "Eagle", it means something like "Struggle to Survive". Altair is Arabic for Eagle, and Ezio means that same in Greek, and it seemed to be an interesting thematic reoccurred.

I noticed both of those as well. It seems they worked with Ezio and Altair for so long, they wanted to go with some new themes.

And I believe he'll get the scar later in the game.

Maybe Connor will get some sort of Native American title that means "Eagle" for doing something during the game.

Okay what the shab..... Connor's father has eagle vision but he's a shabla Templar? I don't he simply switched sides like Lucy did. Discuss.
The  purpose of fighting is to win. There is no possible victory in
defense. The sword is more important than the shield, and skill is more
important than either. The final weapon is the brain. All else is supplemental.

Drake and I agreed on something. Somebody get the camera out to capture the moment.

Oh yeah, that part was cray. Took me totally off guard.
Maybe one of Ezio's (or Altair's) descendants went astray and joined the Templars, resulting in Haytham being one of them.
They do have a couple theories in the game already. I'll have to see how it plays out. My partner in ACIII crime Mia can probably help me with it too.
Haytham's Eagle vision means he's of Altair and Ezio's bloodlines (human-first civ offspring), and is not tied to them being Assassins. Haytham was lured over to the Templar's at a young age, but that doesn't have an effect on his biology.
Alright, finally finished the game.
What a lame ending to Desmond's storyline. Basically send humanity back to the stone age, or release Juno and hope somebody finds a way to stop her. And it won't be you, or one of your descendants, because you're DEAD and had no children. OR any brothers and sisters.

So who is going to be the present-time Assassin in the next game?
