Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy opensourced
« on: April 04, 2013, 09:48:35 AM »
So I just found out that following the announcement of LucaArts' closure, Raven Software have now released the source code for both Jedi Outcast and  Jedi Academy on SourceForge yesterday.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/jediacademy/

I played both these games quite a bit, but only on the Xbox.  I may have to keep an eye on what people do with the source code, and perhaps see about getting it up and running on my PC.

I literally bought Jedi Academy on Steam like a week ago. -_-

I hate my life.

But I bet this is big for the modders...
Lists of games I play:
-- Star Trek Online
-- KOTOR (1 and 2)
-- SWTOR
-- Terraria
-- TF2
-- Magicka
-- Left 4 Dead 2
-- Garry's Mod
And nearly any other F2P game on this planet.

Good luck getting it running.  Don't know how good of a programer you are, but I took one look at it and knew it was hopeless for me.
